Welcome, friend so SheezyArt. I must say, you have quite a few interesting sprite sheets. Big fan of the Halo series, actually. Small talk aside, however, I would like to give caution you with a simple word of warning. Due to the SheezyArt TOS, not to mention quite a few liberal(?) members, you're likely going to be harassed just a bit. If I need to clarify, I will happily do so.
Anywho, welcome again to SA. Good luck 'round here.
Well, I wasn't sure if liberal was the right word or not. I also figured I'd get a bit of flack for being friendly with the fella, but I see I was wrong.
On the subject of recolors and what not (I've been itching to have a decent conversation about this for a long time), what are your views on it? I mean, it's not illegal, as long as credit is given where due.
This may be narrow minded, but are you playing the not creative angle? I've got to agree on that end. Off the subject of sprites, though, I've stumbled across several, excessively detailed recoloring attempts. That is to say, rather than just using paint or spending a few minutes in PhotoShop, they appeared to have spent hours meticulously applying every brush stroke. I'd show you what I'm referring to, but it was posted on SA, and due to TOS it's no longer available. Of course, if someone can recolor something to that extent, why not just draw something of the same magnitude?
